Exhibition for HKSAR 25th and HKUST 30th Anniversaries

HKUST celebrated today the opening of Shaw Auditorium - a brand new hall with state-of-the-art facilities supported by a HK$150 million donation from SFHK.

The first edition of the Cosmopolis Festival features Gaetano Donizetti’s Rita, a comic opera in one act about two husbands trying to get rid of their tyrannical wife Rita.

The new multi-purpose Shaw Auditorium offers state-of-the-art facilities for cultural performances and thought-provoking activities.

HKUST has organized an exhibition for the soon to be opened Shaw Auditorium, offering a sneak peek at the many exciting possibilities the new landmark will unlock.

The world seems dark, with troubles, with many heavy hearts. As we are all doing our best to cope with pandemic anxiety and stay positive despite a gloomy future outlook, the University Choir, HKUSTSU creates an oasis for the mind with melodic songs and dulcet singing. Themed “Dawn”, the 25th annual performance offers a ray of hope for the lost minds in these challenging times. As the saying goes, “No matter how long or dark the night, the sun will rise again.” Enjoy the show.
